Work has almost been completed on the second I Am Human, round 2 portrait!
I’ve seen my skills improve greatly through working on this piece- I’m starting to pay more attention to my linework, and I’m also trying to take more liberties with things like line and shading so I can start breaking away from close adherence to references and start moving closer to the realm of imaginative drawing. I still have a long way to go, but pieces like this help me remember that I can definitely still make it there!
I’m also proud to announce that I’ve been confirmed for my third art vending event!
This one will be taking place in Philadelphia Memorial Park in Malvern, PA on September 23rd. There will be live music and food available, and lots of other crafters ready to share their art! You can have a sneak peak at some of the attendees and learn more about the event here.
I’ll be selling my usual cross-stitched critters like the queer baby octopi (including their new patch versions!) and the new spooky cats, as well as my Keep Them Safe stickers and trans-positive buttons. If you’re in the area, be sure to come out and say hi!
